Hotel room was good, but basic amenities like hot water not available and we have experienced water logging in bath rooms as well. Hotel room rate is higher as compared to the facilities being provided.

Worst stay ever

We book this hotel looking at review and thought that luxury stay would be required for kedarnath track considering kids were accompying us. And we did advance booking and paid amount equivalent of any 4 stat hotel. This hotel should be avoided ad it can't manage rush during peak time. They gave us room which were half ready and work in progress. Also way to go those rooms are throughs stairs which were very dangerous for anyone. My daughter couldn't stay in room due to smell of wood. After complaint, initially they told us leave the hotel at night 11 pm. But after a heated argument, they gave only 1 room (out of 5) in property finished block. Also they provider cheaper and better room for instant traveller and don't care for pre-booking. Suggest not to prebook this hotel ever.

Too many issues to handle with this hotel. First of all, we were given unfinished and dirty rooms in the under construction portion of the hotel when we checked into this hotel. NO PILLOW COVERS (can you imagine?) and bed sheets are dirty. No elevator to the unfinished rooms in the under construction area of the hotel. We asked for room change and were told that no other rooms were available. We went to Kedarnath early morning next day and retuned after 24 hours and found no water in the room when we returned. We insisted to change the room and given another room but that does not have hot water whole day afternoon. So we could not go out as we could not shower. Staff is completely useless and did not provide any hot water thru buckets also. They don't know/understand what customer service means. The restaurant food is OK but they don't let you eat in Andhra restaurant as part of the breakfast / dinner included in the room rate. The other restaurant (Andhra) is much better and faster. We paid for the other restaurant which is much better. Shivalik restaurant is really slow and limited variety. After 3 nights, we checked out of this hotel quietly without making any issue as we got the best experience in Kedarnath temple and that's what we need ultimately. However everyone should know what this hotel is about. Not worth it and go to other hotel.

Good but can be improved

The Good 1. Great spacious rooms, especially the triple room was super spacious (& it was just 500 more than the double room) 2. We booked the hotel offline, Online rooms were priced a bit higher (We got the triple room at 3500 per night), it has a sofa cum bed which becomes ample single bed in the night 3. Location was just besides Sitapur parking and the main parking is also very near to the hotel 4. Food served in the room was great The Bad 1. There's always traffic jam in the front of the hotel (which hotel frankly can do nothing about) 2. Hotel does not guarantee ample parking for the vehicle 3. Staff is not very prompt, there were no towels and we had to ask many times 4. Geyser of our room was not working but was fixed later on The Ugly 1. Food at the restaurant was pathetic (specially the south indian stuff) 2. It took them almost an hour in the restaurant to delivery a lemon water though there wasn't much crowd

A clean option for a 1 night stay enroute Kedarnath. This hotel is strategically located in Sonprayag from where you can take a Bolero for Gaurikund when you begin your Kedarnath yatra. Attached to this hotel is Andhra Bhojanalay with a neat & clean restaurant with tasty food options. Cost could be a slight concern though but the food quality is really good. A recommended hotel for a discerning traveller with a flexible budget.
